This brass candle holder is made using traditional casting technique which has been passed down through generations for over 400 years in Takaoka, Japan. As a product produced in collaboration of NOUSAKU and Takazawa Candle of Ishikawa Prefecture. A set of 2 Japanese candles and 1 brass candle holder. In 5 different designs; L, N, P, A, T Brass (60% copper, 40% zinc)
NANAO Japanese candles, handcrafted by Takazawa Rousoku in Ishikawa Prefecture. These Japanese candles are made with techniques that have not changed since the 16th century and today are made by only a handful of Japanese craftsmen. These traditional Japanese candles are inspired by the beauty of nature in Noto Peninsula and are completely handmade. They give off very little smoke and a shine a brighter light than modern paraffin candles.
[Directions for use & Maintenace]
Brass Candle Holder:
-Wipe with a soft cloth or a sponge after use.
-Treat with diluted dishwashing detergent and lightly rub with a damp sponge/ cloth if needed. Then wipe with a dry cloth.
-Do not rub with a metal polisher.
-Although the object receives a colour fixing finish, the colour may slightly fade over time.
-Warm molten wax when it is hard to take off.
NANAO Japanese Candle:
-Failure to follow these directions could result in unexpected fire hazard or personal injury.
-Place candles on solid, stable and heat resistant surfaces in areas where they cannot accidentally be knocked over.
-Use only in well ventilated low heat condition.
-Candles should not be used where there are drafts or air currents (A/C, ceiling fans, windows).
-Do not move candle while burning or if the wax is hot.
vKeep out of reach of children and pets.
-Never leave a burning candle unattended.
-Do not use candles while you sleep.
